Is the whole kit replaced or just the disc?
It depends on the condition of the parts and the design. Ask what the proposed kit contains and why those parts are needed.
Does the flywheel need replacing too?
It depends on its type and condition. It is a separate item that should be justified by the inspection, not added automatically to every clutch job.
Can clutch slip be confirmed from a description?
A description helps but does not replace an inspection. Please do not put the car under heavy load just to test the problem yourself.
